ASTM A420 covers wrought carbon steel and alloy steel fittings of seamless and welded construction for use in pressure piping and pressure vessel service at low temperatures. ASTM A420 are available in four several grades: WPL6, WPL9, WPL3, WPL8, the commonly used grades are WPL6 and WPL9.
