3LPE Coated Pipes consist of 3 layers for pipeline coating. The first layer is the epoxy layer which offers very good corrosion protection. The second layer is the adhesive copolymer layer which has good chemical bonding to the fusion epoxy and the top layer polyethylene. The outer layer consists of polyethylene(PE) materials for physical protection.

The 3LPE coating provides excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical protection for large and small diameter pipelines even at high temperatures. The 3LPE carbon steel pipes are typically used for where have applications that are either submerged or buried such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, sewage, drinking water, etc, one method of providing improved resistance to corrosion is by coating it with 3LPE.
